Robin was born in Hamilton, Ontario and raised in a rural setting which gave her an early  appreciation of God’s creation and the beauty of the changing seasons. She could always be found with pencil and paper in hand growing up.

As a young mom and lab technologist she learned the joy of watercolour painting and it became her medium of choice. Moves across the country brought even more inspiration drawn from prairies to mountains to ocean and then back to Eastern Ontario March 2020.

She has not had formal art education but has benefited  from many mentors over the years. A member of the Deep River Valley Artisans and the Federation of Canadian Artists has allowed her works to be sent around the world. She enjoys teaching beginners to paint and loves to paint outdoors. Her works are colourful but serene.
