Having recently relocated to Pembroke from Montreal, Cari Jones is busily creating new pieces, exhibiting her work and setting up her own private teaching studio.

Cari, a versatile artist in both realistic portrait work as well as whimsical floral paintings is drawn to colour.  Big, bold, whimsical flowers emerge from her paintbrush which reflect the mood she is in at the moment.

Cari’s preferred medium is acrylic paint, though she works in all mediums and loves to combine different materials.  Paint, glass, resin, paste, glitter to name a few examples, all those that pop and boast colour and flighty lines for movement.
